A Bold Entrance
Hebrews 4:14-16
Jesus the Great High Priest
Bee's Thoughts:
Sometimes we might feel guilty to come to God when we know we have sinned against God over and over again. The devil may accuse us and tell us that we are unworthy to ask God for forgiveness. This is a devil's lie.
Jesus has been "tempted in every way" just like us, therefore, He can "sympathize with our weaknesses" (v15). Jesus will never despise us when we go to Him to tell Him what we'd been through and seek His help. Isn't that comforting to be able to talk to Someone who has gone through smiliar temptations like ours and yet is an overcomer? With this in mind, we can boldly and confidently approach Him "in our time of need" (v15).
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your comforting words today that we can come before You in time of need. You promised us that Your grace and mercy will be with us.
Now I want to pray for my friend, who is having a special problem, and is in need of Your grace and mercy to see him through. I pray that he will have the courage to apprach Your throne of grace instead of feeling condemned by the devil. Grant him wisdom to handle his situation as he learns to commit himself and his problem to You.
Thank You for hearing my prayers. Amen.
Jesus the Great High Priest
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

His mercy refreshes at a brand new day, He will always listen...i'm one who's guilty of taking Him for granted! In times of desperate needs, He will be remembered but good times He's fogotten, this is also the devil's ploy to draw a line between God and man.
The devil's plot is always well planned but hey, temptation is not a sin, its only a sin when you fall for it. So, lets keep our prayers coming constantly and pray we'll be stronger after each fall.
amen... may the lord keep u & me till the end of the day.
