Peaceful Anxiety
Philippians 4:4-13 3
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Bee's Thoughts:
Tonight's devotion is a very good reminder to me. Not only there has been some obstacles I am facing at my work, but my laptops also have been giving me problems since last Sat.
During times like these I may forget to bring my concerns to God, instead try very hard to solve them by myself. I may forget to give thanks in everything, including things that bother me.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for reminding me not to be anxious in anything but to pray and give thanks to You always. For You are greater than my problems.
Now I commit my work and my computers to Your hand. I pray You will guide me to do what is right to accomplish the works I need to do. Yes, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. May Your name be glorified.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

10I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
