God Put You In My Way
Luke 10:30-37
30In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. 35The next day he took out two silver coins[a] and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'
Bee's Thoughts:
I like the title of tonight's devotion, "God Put You In My Way". God has put so many people in my way since I made my first cry in the world. Just like what I wrote in my poem, "Memories":
Some people have sweetened my life
Some people have made me cry
Some do both till the day I die
God has put you in my way
Be it temporal or here to stay
You are still my neighbour today

Dear Lord,
Thank You for those You have put in my way. You have Your reasons for them to cross my paths. Be it to teach me or them something, I pray I can bless them with Your love. Though I may not fully know Your purpose of letting us meet, I pray that I will be a good neighbour to them. Thank You once again.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

36"Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"
37The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him."
Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."

I remember the people I met
Those who made me sad and those who made me glad
How should I feel or what shall I say
They have all played a part
In making what I am today
