On Eagles' Wings
Isaiah 40:27-31
28 Do you not know?
Bee's Thoughts:
Eagle always remind me of my friend, whom I nicknamed "Eagle", and asked him not to be like the "chicken", which sounds very much like his real name. ;) I wrote the poem, Your're An Eagle to encourage him. Indeed he has finally 'spreaded' his 'wings' like the eagle, and I wish him all the best in his future endevours, as in my poem Eagle, Goodbye.
Eagle also depicts strength, perseverence, vision, and courage. I did some studies about the Eagle previously. I learnt some interesting facts about American Bald Eagle:
I also learnt 6 LESSONS FROM EAGLES:
With all these facts and lessons about the eagle, it becomes clear why the bible uses it to compare to Christians who seek and wait upon Him. He promises them strength, perseverence, vision, and courage. He also wants them to stay faithful and loving, just like the eagle.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for the lessons I can learn from the eagle. Thank You that whenever I felt weary You had renewed my strength as I waited upon You. Teach me to soar like the eagle and to see the big plan You have for me. Let me rest in You Lord.
In Jesus' name I ask these. Amen.
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Fidelity - Once paired, bald eagles remain together until one dies, the survivor will not hesitate to accept a new mate. (sounds biblical... hehe)
Voice - Shrill, high pitched, and twittering are common descriptions used for bald eagle vocalizations. Eagles do not have vocal cords. Sound is produced in the syrinx, a bony chamber located where the trachea divides to go to the lungs. Bald eagle calls may be a way of reinforcing the bond between the male and female, and to warn other eagles and predators that an area is defended. (so loving, :D)
I also learnt 6 LESSONS FROM EAGLES:
Lesson 1: All Baby Eagles Must Learn To Fly
Lesson 2: Eagles Are Made For The High Places
Lesson 3: Eagles Do Not Fly, They Soar
Lesson 4: Eagles Go Through Specific Periods Of Renewal
Lesson 5: Eagles Get Sick, Just Like Humans
Lesson 6: Every Eagle Has To Die
