John 16:5-16

The Work of the Holy Spirit
12"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

Reflection of Bee:

Unless the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to us, we will never know or understand any spiritual truth. We may read the bible or listen to sermons yet they are just like as history or additional knowledge to us. Only the Holy Spirit can quicken our inner spirit and help us know the mysteries of God.

Thank God that we can have a Teacher and a Comforter to be with us on earth while Jesus has gone to heaven to prepare a place for those who love Him.

Dear Lord,
Thank You that You did not leave me alone, but send Your Holy Spirit to stay with me so that He will show me the things You want me to know. I pray that I will live according to Your will. Guide me in my work and in my dealing with people around me.
